Accommodations on this Pacific Trawlers 40 offer some unique features:
The forward stateroom is comfortable, with a large hanging locker and plenty of additional storage.
Large mid-ships head (which is especially nice when guests are aboard) with a separate enclosed shower stall.
The u-shaped galley is large, with lots of counter space, a gigantic sink, and a large side-by-side refrigerator/freezer.
The single stateroom design allows for a very large and open salon. A pull-out settee converts to a double berth. Lots of light and visibility.
The pilothouse has two pedestal mounted helm seats and a bench seat. The pedestal seats can be removed if desired but make for comfortable long-range piloting.
The cockpit is an open transom design (with a full complement of staples for security) and creates a tremendously large space for relaxing, storage of kayaks, etc. Owners of these boats rave about this design and report no issues with water coming aboard. This unique design is very advantageous for easy access while boarding the boat, and can be very accommodating for disabled people who don't want to give up boating.
Big boat deck with storage space for a large dinghy. A mast-mounted boom acts as a crane for lifting from either port or starboard.
Flybridge atop the pilothouse provides great visibility and has seating for five.
New Wallas 40Dt diesel-fired forced-air furnace. Two Cruise Air reverse cycle heat/ac units of 16000 and 12000 btu capacity respectively.
