The Hyundai S270 V6 diesel engine block is constructed from Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) which Hyundai reports to be lighter and quieter than conventional grey cast iron, while demonstrating much higher tensile strength, stiffness and fatigue strength than steel or aluminum.

Helmsman Trawlers has returned the venerable Camano 31 hull to the water with this new model -- and this example is a showpiece. She was built with several unique features -- a custom interior with full use of teak and holly throughout, storage/seating bench topside, hardtop cockpit cover, Fighting Lady Yellow hull color, custom salon barrel chairs, custom folding dining/cocktail table, custom mattress and more. This boat has exceptionally low hours and is available only because the owners' plans have changed.
This compact trawler offers amazing comfort and live-ability for a couple with a large galley, lots of storage throughout, and a master suite (with separate head and shower compartments) comparable to much larger boats. The flybridge is comparatively enormous.
Powered by a Hyundai SeasAll V6 diesel which must be experienced to be appreciated for its smooth, quiet power.
The craftsmanship throughout this boat is remarkable -- the stainless work, the joinery and the tough fiberglass layup.
