Commentaires du Broker
We are delighted to list this Golant 21 motor launch for sale. This traditional motor launch is from the design of Roger Donghay, better known for the Cornish Crabber and built by John Fuge and probably helped by Peter Williams. Boatshed Cornwall can promote the best of Cornwall with this Golant 21.
We found this launch moored to a pontoon where it has recently arrived from a local boatyard who were commissioned to undertake some work during the winter months. First impressions were as expected: a clean and tidy example of a traditional clinker-built motor launch. However, as to be expected the bilge did contain some water.
Built of wood, probably mahogany on oak, the boat appeared to be strong and sound although it is to be expected that there may be some minor defects throughout the construction.
Of note is the engine. This installation was carried out professionally over the winter and this motor launch has a new Beta Marine 20 engine that has probably only been run for 2 hours.
If you are on the lookout for a traditional wooden clinker-built motor launch that can accommodate two, three at a push for an overnight, or maybe a weekend, then you may want to consider this Golant 21 listed with Boatshed Cornwall.
