Boatshed London are delighted to bring this 27m Dutch Barge to market with a fantastic residential mooring at Limehouse Basin in East London.
Currently set up as a lovely family home on the water, this barge has three cabins, a large open plan living area and wheelhouse that is bathed in light all day. There is approx 1,000 sq ft of space on board in total.
The barge has well designed skylights along its length and is well specced throughout with a Rangemaster cooker and quality materials used for the fit out.
The barge was last dry docked in 2015 and was epoxied at the time giving the next owner peace of mind and a decent time frame before it needs to be lifted again. The Lister engine is in great condition and the current owners had it overhauled (2015). It started on the button when I tested it on viewing the boat and runs smoothly. The bilges are dry and the engine room has good access and also provides useful extra storage.
There is also lots of space on deck with a flat roof meaning there is area for bbq's, furniture etc.
Limehouse Basin is ideally located for those wanting access to central London or Canary Wharf with the DLR station only 5 mins from the boat. Current mooring fees are £16,250 per annum. There is a 5% transfer fee (of the sale price) payable to the marina on completion.
