Boatshed London are delighted to offer this beautiful 20m Dutch Barge for sale with London residential mooring.
Built in 1911, this traditional barge was brought to London about 12 years ago and is being sold with a highly sought after mooring in Greenland Dock, Surrey Quays.
The current owners have made significant improvements to the boat since then including a new kitchen, new oil-fired boiler, new pumps and new water tanks.
The boat benefits from loads of natural light in the kitchen, wheelhouse and living areas and has central heating to keep warm on the colder nights. There is a single cabin with large double bed and plenty of storage space in this room and throughout the boat.
Greenland Dock is a beautiful expanse of water in Rotherhithe and the marina has a strong and relaxed community spirit amongst the residents. The barge has a fixed power supply from the 240V shore power and residents also benefit from a laundry and shower blocks.
The mooring is transferable to the new owner and mooring fees will be approx £9,600 p.a.
