Two independent B&G ACP 1 autopilot systems with H3000 displays. Each processor has its own RRI, drive unit and Compass, one Gyro and one rate compass. More than 20 Akilaria standard version Class 40’s have been built. The boats are well built, strong and reliable. They have a well proven track record on trans-Atlantic races, around the world races and inshore events. Purchased new from MC-Tec with final fit out to a very high specification completed by Brian Harris at the Maine Yacht Centre. This Class 40 has been professionally maintained, with no expense spared. The result is a Class 40 that’s in excellent condition with a highly developed current racing sail wardrobe. An excellent buy for anyone looking to join the North American Class 40 circuit this Summer, with the existing skipper a very enthusiastic member of the US Class 40 Association and keen to help new owner move into the class.
