Boarding from the midship gate I am impressed that the side decks are quite wide and I am able to move from bow to stern safely and comfortably. There is a substantial bulwark surrounding the deck and the teak railings, which are beautifully maintained, give a sense of safety while on deck. The flybridge is capable of being fully enclosed or may be enjoyed with just a bimini for shade on a warm day. She has a small "sun deck" over the aft cabin for a couple of chairs and a BBQ.
An 8' Livingston dinghy and 4hp Yamaha motor is attached to the swim step with a manual Weaver davit system for ease of getting to shore or out to fish or set crab pots.
You may enter through the starboard side door at the lower helm directly into the saloon. Forward of the helm station and down a few steps is a brightly lit v-berth cabin with ensuite head.
The lower helm is to starboard with a chart desk to port, the galley area is just aft on the port side. An Attwood 3-burner propane stove and oven and Norcold refrigerator with small freezer compartment, sink, and small counter seem to provide ample space to prepare meals. There are several drawers and storage compartments for food, dish ware and utensils. There is an L-shaped settee to starboard with a fairly large folding salon table, which could seat 4 comfortably. A smaller settee to port might be a great place to enjoy a good book or extra seating for company.
Four hatches in the saloon floor provide access to the engine room compartment. Cabin heating is Red Dot (while engine is running) or a stand alone electric heater may be brought on board.
The main stateroom is aft and has a private companionway from the aft deck. A double berth is starboard with a single to port; a large hanging locker is also to port. Both ensuite heads have shower attachments and new manual toilets.
The interior teak is beautiful, there are custom carvings on the head doors, the parquet floor appears to be in very good condition, as do the teak walls.

Commentaires du Broker

CHB 34s are a very popular trawler-style yacht. They are sought after as they are very liveable, durable and versatile, and I believe this is an excellent example of a well-cared-for CHB.

She comes with full winter canvas and teak railing covers to protect her from the elements when at rest, and she sports a full flybridge enclosure for piloting in inclement weather or enjoying more space when at anchor.
Two staterooms provide plenty of room for storage of belongings and extras. The ensuite heads add to a sense of privacy for couples or family. The full galley, with propane stove and oven, also has plenty of storage for an extended weekend away.
Like many of her sisters she is powered by a single 6-cylinder Ford Lehman. The current owner reports that he has upgraded the wiring for the charging system, installed new gauges and instruments in the dashboard, rewired the mast for the radar, and installed a new Garmin 741 xs.

She is currently moored in covered moorage which is transferrable to the new owners.
