Broker's Comments

This lovely barge commands a great position within South Dock Marina. With a double cabin, bathroom, and open plan kitchen/saloon, she makes the ideal liveaboard, within the vibrant community of South Dock Marina.

Built in the 1950's and used as a coal barge, she now provides comfortable living, with a multi-fuel stove fitted with a back boiler, powering two radiators. Hot water is provided by the calorifier, heated by shore power electricity.

There is a large amount of storage for clothes, etc in the fitted cupboards in the saloon. The bathroom is a good size, with a fully tiled shower cubical and electric flushing loo.

The wheelhouse and engine room provide extra space for storage.

The residential mooring at South Dock is fully transferable (10% transfer fee). It's a very well run marina in a beautifully quiet spot with good transport links. Current mooring fees are £9,420 per annum. There is a pump out facility, laundry and shower block on the site.
