Originally Cutter rig (see photos). She is presently Gaff Yawl rigged for ease of shorthanded sailing, though I am told thar it would be easy enough to reinstate the cutter rig if required.
New wooden masts in 2008. Most standing rigging renewed in 2008 with the exception of forestay and back stay renewed in 2021.
She is registered with the UK National Historic Ships Register
Deck stepped masts and a 1.5m draught make travelling the Inland waterways of Europe a possibility too.

Broker's Comments
Classic sailing vessel for sale on the French west coast. Boatshed Lorient is pleased to offer this Gaff rigged Yawl for sale. Documented historic craft yet a very practical sailboat with wide side decks, cozy accommodation, deck stepped masts and dimensions that allow for inland waterway cruising as well as the originally intended coastal sailing. She appears to be massively built and well maintained and having evolved over the years she currently benefits from a virtually new Bukh engine, a teak wheelhouse and a gaff yawl rig. For more information and appointments to view, please contact Graham from Boatshed Lorient.
